Trial and Error

These last two weeks, my creative brain has been challenged. When I left Vancouver I had a big goal in mind and plans on how to use my 4 months 'sabbatical' period. Sadly, not much has been accomplished during this time and my 4 months period is almost up.

So, today, I start reconnecting with my creativity side and decided to paint (using photoshop of course). While it's not the greatest picture, I am quite proud of it - considering it's my first try. And yes, i got some pointers from internet (although the guy made it sound sooo easy >_<). So, here it is. If you have any suggestion or input regarding how to learn to draw, please let me know. Thank you!

Safe in Her Home

I had a little chat with my brother yesterday and he told me that the baby is now home and safe. He shared that the baby is restless when she was in the hospital but calm and happy when she is finally home. Wow... even a baby can tell when she is home. I guess that's why God created a family, so that a baby can have a place to call home.

So, home sweet home, my little niece.... Can't wait to see you in person. ^_^

A Newborn Niece!!!

Okay, I created this blog with great ideas in mind, but apparently couldn't follow through with it. So, I haven't wrote anything about stop signs in my life not because there aren't any lately, but because I got too many that I got distracted from time to time. Well, this time, it's a little bit different.

A news came to us two days ago and it was big enough to make me stop and simply amazed for these last 2 days. It's a big stop sign, but a very beautiful one. Yes, my brother and his wife just gave a birth to a beautiful baby girl.

She is a tiny infant, yet, my whole family seems to evolve around her. Seeing her is just simply breathtaking. Vulnerable and powerless as she is, she forces us to see the world from a different point of view - a world of hope and joy.
